Now hiring part-time sales for immediate openings

Noir, Granville’s designer boutique, is seeking part-time sales associates to join its retail team this fall. The sales associate is responsible for driving sales, providing excellent and friendly customer service, meeting company sales goals and assisting in store promotions and marketing initiatives.

Candidates must have:

Previous retail experience
Computer knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Noir brands
An exemplary fashion sense

Duties include but are not limited to:

Completing monthly inventory and managing loss prevention
Using product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers
Building lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggesting new merchandise, and reminding them of upcoming events
Working with customers from greeting to completion of sale
Ensuring daily sales goals are met
Merchandising store floor and windows
Creating and maintaining a team environment
Receiving goods and entering products into POS system (familiarity with Retail ICE POS software a plus)
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of store
Maintaining constant communication with owners

Hours needed are primarily in the morning. The part-time sales associate’s typical work hours are Monday-Friday for a total of 10-30 hours a week depending on the season. Occasional weekends are required. Benefits include generous employee discount and yearly raise.
